Going to Look at Christmas Lights

Guest post by Jewel Cole

With the Holidays approaching very fast, the time has come for decorations! Bright lights, window decor, and trees are just some of many decorations people put up to celebrate the Holiday season. There are also several Christmas Light displays in the area.

Before leaving to visit the beautiful Christmas displays in the area, I gather my family and my closest friends so that we can all go together. After all, Holidays are meant to be spent with the ones that you love the most. As we leave the house, I set the alarm with home Alarm Systems monitoring and we pile off into the car. Our favorite destination is Longwood Gardens in Philadelphia. Longwood Gardens is the perfect place to visit during this time of year. This place is home to tons of beautiful horticultural displays. During the Holiday season, Longwood Gardens becomes a majestic winter wonderland with a full display of Christmas lights and decorations.

After checking out Longwood Gardens, we then like to head out to The Holiday Light Show and Organ Concert. This light show has been around in Philadelphia for more than 50 years. It is located at Macy's on 1300 Market Street. There is a light display with holiday oriented music. The light show looks the best at night, so that is our favorite time to go. This is the best time of the year!
