A Day To Remember- Rachael's Wedding Day

Guest post of the week by Jeffry Warren

Last weekend was the day my friend Rachel got married to Ben, the love of her life. Rachel and I have been friends for 7 years. We met in college. The wedding ceremony was held at St. Gabriel's Church in Concord Ohio. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a fall wedding.

Rachel chose Alex, my 5 year old son to be the ring bearer. I wish I could say he was excited about his important role but, that would be lying. He just didn't want to do it. In the end he lost the battle and gave in. He looked so handsome walking down the isle in his little tuxedo.

The morning of the wedding was a chaotic mess at my home. It felt like a tornado ripped thru my home and left a trail of disasters for me to fix or clean. First, Alex lost one of his socks. Next, he managed to dripped tooth paste on his suit coat. The crazy thing about that is, he wasn't even wearing the jacket when he brushed his teeth. Lastly, our cat Brewster left my husband a little present in his shoe. Alex and my husband finally made it to the car. Before closing the door, I made sure all lights were off and our house alarm (information) was set. We finally made it to the church.
